In 1959, in the heart of Utah's Wasatch Mountains, a small ski resort was opened, mostly to cater for local skiers from Salt Lake City, 23 miles away. From the start it was a homely, casual, easy-going sort of place and although it has now grown into a leading Utah resort with a wide variety of skiing and excellent facilities to match, the friendly unpretentious atmosphere is still very much in evidence.
