If you are looking for an unpretentious, non-factory, skier-and-rider-centric experience with exciting terrain, then discover Mt. Abram!

Locate five miles south of Bethel Village, Maine, Mt. Abram offers tons of mountain fun at a reasonable price. Abram's "come as you are culture" has been providing memorable downhill experiences since 1960.

With five lifts accessing 44 trails, the mountain's 1,150-foot vertical drop is perfect for all levels of skiers, snowboarders, and telemarkers. From gentle novice slopes to double black diamonds, from smooth groomed trails to natural terrain park airs, from exciting tree runs to challenging lines like Rocky's Run, Fearless, and The Cliff, our mountain playground offers it all.

We also -- thanks to Maine's first "Boundary to Boundary"ski policy -- have increased our inbound terrain from 250 acres of trails to 550 acres of groomers, glades, tree lines, and powder stashes.

For the 2010 - 2011 season, Mt Abram's Freestyle Park is ramping up the fun. Now located in front of the Main Lodge, the new jib park is setting the stage for excitement for both riders and on-lookers.

The Resort's "Westside", served by the "Skyline Chair" and the "Sawicki", is home to the East Coast's most fabulous "Learn 2" topography. The Westside is comprised of three, long, friendly slopes, including Skyline Drive, Westside's signature run. Perfect for beginners and easy-riding skiers and boarders, the trail takes you to the cozy, welcoming vibe of our Westside Lodge. Here you'll also find our Loose Boots Saloon, a local's favorite because of our home-brewed beer, excellent food, and supervised play zone for the kids.
