A 10-minute gondola ride that takes you 885 metres above Howe Sound. Beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding mountains, a 100 metre suspension bridge, a full-service restaurant, two cafes, one bar. Two, easy interpretive trails and numerous challenging backcountry hikes for nature and outdoor enthusiasts.

Stationed between the Chief and Shannon Falls, the Base Camp area is directly adjacent to the Sea to Sky highway, has the Base Camp Cafe, Base Camp store, Administration building and other support services.

The base area plan also includes a connector trail walking experience that would link the Sea to Sky Gondola with the Malamute, Stawamus Chief Provincial Park viewing area and trail, and Shannon Falls Provincial Park.

The Sea to Sky Gondola is a Dopplemayr 8 passenger lift that will enable access for all, including young families and visitors with strollers or wheelchairs.

At the summit, a host of amenities and adventure activities will be available. A spectacular suspension bridge, interpretive trails, jaw dropping viewing platforms, climbing areas, snowshoeing, climbing areas, mtn biking trails and other naturally inspired activities. A West Coast inspired lodge serving a high quality locally produced menu with a spectacular outside deck for sunsets will be the perfect way to end your adventure.

The Sea to Sky Gondola will provide mountain top access leading to the alpine areas of Mount Habrich, Sky Pilot Mountain and Goat Ridge via easily reached backcountry trails and routes for mountain enthusiasts.
